The issue of conflict in ethical rules and regulations is among the important issues in moral philosophy, especially in applied morality. In other words, a man of religious duty and option is sometimes perplexed in: which moral activity should he perform at the present as duty? Among various methods, this study has intended in an analytico-descriptive manner to propose a suitable method for solving the problem. In this study, some methods have been proposed and finally, Ayatollah Mesbah’s viewpoint about moral conflicts has been analyzed. He has proposed two criteria in the field: an act`s state of being of multiple aspects and its being beneficial to the community. We have embarked on analyzing the second method which is accepted by him. It has been concluded that the proposed criteria in this method are confronted by some challenges so that restricting such topics as justice or envy to be beneficial or non-beneficail should be reflected upon. |
