In resorting to violence and punishments in order to contain and deal with the anomalies that threaten urban security, there is a fear that the cause of occurrence is forgotten and the struggle with the effect replaces the struggle with the cause; For this reason, more attention should be paid to the person responsible for it and the factors and causes affecting him that cause anti-social behavior than the anti-social act.
This article aims to analyze the effect of Islamic ethics teachings in creating security in the urban environment, which, by focusing on strengthening internal deterrents and emphasizing the observance of human rights, causes more efficient prevention compared to physical solutions and police encounters in providing urban security, based on library studies. and analyze in a descriptive-analytical way the data of which was collected by taking a snapshot.
The findings of this research show that efforts to strengthen Islamic beliefs based on self-control through the consolidation of human dignity can be achieved by monitoring and eliminating crime-causing factors (primary prevention) and reducing the amount of crime committed by potential people who are exposed to social harm (secondary prevention) who respect the rights It follows others in the urban life, it will help to increase the security in the cities.
