Rereading the role and position of the father in moral education with emphasis on Islamic teachings

In discussions about the role of parents in the process of parenting, the role of parents should be given fair attention and the role of the father in this process should not be limited to meeting needs and providing material and economic benefits; Because religious teachings in line with scientific and experimental studies and researches have considered the father's position to be very important and consider the father to be responsible for the individual's life.In this research, with the aim of showing the necessity of fathers' role in the moral education of children and the effective components in this regard, a descriptive-analytical method was used with an emphasis on Islamic verses and traditions. Whether mother has an equal share or not and basically whether moral education through fathers is necessary from the Islamic point of view is the most important issue of leading researchThe results of the research show that the necessity of moral education by fathers in line with the educational role of mothers has many rational and narrative reasons in Islamic teachings, and fathers by creating a suitable emotional relationship, setting a correct example, punishing and encouraging properly, monitoring and affirming positively and guiding And prudent and timely advice can facilitate this type of training from their side.
