A Comparative Study of Ethical Criteria of moral agents in terms of Islamic Ethics and Secular Ethics
Abstract
one of the most important topics in the field of moral philosophy is issues related to moral agents, what does the concept of moral agent mean? and according to what criteria and attributes, one can be called a moral agent, in order to call him as responsible for his moral action and can be praised and denounced him. This paper on the method of gathering materials uses libraries, and on the cite of the data, follows attribution style and method of analysis of accounts receivable is Descriptive analysis. At first, explores and explains the concept of the moral agent and its criteria from the two secular and Islamic perspectives, which will first be analyzed and explained in the West. Continuing the work, this concept and its criteria will be explored in Islamic ethics; and has come to the conclusion despite the conceptual difference between the criteria, particularly, this difference was very clear about intention but between criteria such as power and autonomy, maturity and responsibility of equality and communication, but the criterion of spirit is the coordinates of Islamic ethics and is not equated with secular ethics.
