This study is going to review the “risk-taking” quality as one of the most important features of entrepreneurs built upon Quranic verses while some non-Muslim researchers have tried to review the entrepreneurship’s character features based on their Holy book. The method of this survey is semantic approach and the source of this study is whole of Holy Quran and the complete version of Almizan exegesis. The results show that risk-taking as a feature upraised from western entrepreneurs has some senses that are far away from Quranic teachings, although some available concepts in risk-taking are confirmed like relying to guess and supposition when there is no access to information. According to semantical analysis of Quranic verses there are some Quranic alternative qualities for risk-taking like consulting, strong will and especially relying to God. This study was an attempt against some mismatched concepts which exist in entrepreneurship texts raised from west. This is an introduction to make the knowledge of entrepreneurship local and Islamic.
