This study aims to critically review the book "Inferring a moral verdict from the conduct and practice of the innocent Imams; Theoretical difficulties and methodological considerations". The book has many merits and a good follow-up in expressing examples of the behaviors of the innocent Imams (AS). But it also has fundamental drawbacks. For example, the form and structure of the book has not been arranged with necessary precision and it does not have a coherent logical and structural order, appropriate to the author's purpose; In addition, it has significant spelling problems. It also has some shortcomings in its content. Unreliable and in some cases unreasonable quotations, expressing unjustifiable reasons in solving challenges, haste in expressing challenges and apparent contradictions in the behavior of the innocent Imams (AS) without the necessary investigation, attributing forgetfulness and inadvertence to the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and insistence on its claims, the use of invalid hadith sources and the overlap of the proposed rules are among these cases.
